On December 21, 1991 my parents "tied the knot". They said "I do", "till death do us part", "forever", "for better or for worse", "in sickness and in health".
This was probably the second best day of their lives. The first being my birth. Sorry to my older sister reading this. ;)
Mom, cheers to thirty years of Dad snoring in your ear. Thirty years of locking in the cutest guy in your office. Thirty years of traveling around the world. Thirty years of learning a new language for your spouse. Thirty years of Dad screaming at the telly because Man U can't win a game to save their lives. ;)
Dad, cheers to thirty years of Mom elmo-laughing after one glass of wine. Thirty years of hearing words and phrases like: Gual-mar (Walmart), essept-to-ju (it's up to you), guat (what). Thirty years of being wed to real-life Dory. Thirty years of still holding her hand even though it's blatant she's NOT on your last nerve, you lost that guy years ago.
Mom and Dad, cheers to thirty years of unconditional, patient, augmenting love.
